Wood, hemp and clay house

The dream begins when I read letters from Vincent Van Gogh about a cohousing-coworking project in Arles – see notes
I read these letters because I’m preparing the French baccalauréat – at age 78 !!!

First, I imagine a house for one artist with a rotating top floor for the artist to choose the light angle.
Then it becomes a house for an imagined couple :
– Laura is a painter
– her companion is an intellectual

Letters from Vincent Van Gogh to his brother Theo

18 September 1888, Letter 682

• a cohousing of artists where we would live as a family, as brothers and companions.
• the cohousing way of living should imply decision making based on firm and very categorical management, and habits to speak very clearly.

• If we live together, there should be a father superior to impose order.
• Gauguin would be its head.
• Unity will bring strength – feeling firmly united.
